A woman of strong faith, preacher’s wife Meagan Good always knew that once the door on her short-lived NBC drama series Deception closed, another one—bigger and better—would open. Perhaps, that time has come.
On Monday, March 10, the 32-year-old Christian actress greeted fans from New York where she is filming scenes for her starring role in NBC’s new Sci-Fi drama pilot, Babylon Fields. In it, Good has been tapped to play Janine Beltran, a beautiful local doctor with a bit of an edge.
Though the science fiction genre represents new territory for the Anchorman 2 and Think Like A Man star, with the success of African American actress Nicole Beharie’s Fox sci-fi television drama,Sleepy Hollow, perhaps Good’s Babylon Fields will catch fire with viewers in the same way.
