President Barack Obama posed for a “selfie” with two other world leaders at the memorial service of former South African President Nelson Mandela on Tuesday in Johannesburg, South Africa; in which many are calling inappropriate and disrespectful. Even First Lady Michelle Obama “appeared” to not be amused about the selfie at all.
Teenagers of course popularized taking self pictures at funerals and then posting them online.
