Did Romney adopt KKK slogan: “Keep America American?”

Mitt Romney can’t seem to keep his feet out of hot water. Romney and his camp have been using the campaign slogan “Keep America American,” which was a central theme for the Ku Klux Klan in the 1920′s. Mitt Romney’s Slogan was used by the Klan in publications to serve as a rallying cry for white supremacist group’s to intimidate blacks, gays, and jews.

Was this just a mistake or do you believe Mitt Romney knew his slogan has an ugly past in American History?
