Today’s Daily Faith-Lift ™ is designed to remind us to inspect our connections!
The word “inspect” means to look at carefully; examine. Our cars, homes, buildings, property, and restaurants all get inspections. These things get inspections for our protection. However, our relationships need inspections for our protection as well!
We have to inspect who we are connected to. Sometimes we are connected to people who weigh us down. When these people become too heavy to carry, it’s time to serve a disconnection notice!
Get out your inspection checklist and check your connections. Are you hooked up with people who:
- Pull you up or bring you down?
- Help you or hinder you?
- Lift you up or let you down?
- Are useful or full of using you?
- Going places or going nowhere?
- Stand by you or stand in your way?
Watch your connections or you will blow a fuse! We can’t be connected with everybody!
Inspect your connections for your protection; even if it means serving a disconnection notice!
