William Balfour, the former brother-in-law singer/actress Jennifer Hudson, has been sentenced for the 2008 murder of her mother, brother and seven-year-old nephew. Balfour will serve three life sentences. Illinois does not carry the death penalty.
Jennifer Hudson was present for the ruling today in Chicago. This may bring some closure to her; but it can’t bring back her loved ones. Please keep Hudson in your prayers.
