Daily Faith-Lift ™

Today’s Daily Faith-Lift ™ is designed to remind to plan to pray each day.

Many of us are or have been guilty of believing that we are too busy to pray. However, we are too busy not to pray. Busy is the acronym for Being Under Satan’s Yoke. However, prayer is being under God’s covering.

In Mark 1 verse 35, Jesus prayed early in the morning. By doing this, Jesus made deposits each morning in order to make withdrawals throughout the day; and we should plan our day the same way.

1. Plan a prayer-cation, just like we plan our vacation.

2. Plan a prayer list, just like we plan our grocery list.

3. Plan prayer breaks, just like we plan lunch breaks.

4. Plan prayer time, just like we plan dinner time.

5. Plan to pray in the Presence of God, just like we plan to be present for others.

Don’t get me wrong, prayer should never be on the same level of the things I compared; and the things I compared should never be on a higher level than prayer.

You have to be near God to hear God; therefore, plan to pray each day.
