Volunteer neighborhood watch leader George Zimmerman, who has been charged with second-degree murder for shooting and killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26 in Sanford, Fla., did an interview on Fox News last night. Zimmerman said he heard Trayvon tell him that he was going to kill him and that’s why he acted in self-defense. Zimmerman also said that fateful night was a tragic situation, it was all in God’s plan, he apologized to Trayvon’s family and said that he prays for Trayvon’s family daily.
