Say Hello To The New “Sugar Free” Slurpee!

Summer is just around the corner and at least somebody is helping us to look out for our waistlines. Get ready for the “Slurpee Lite,” the sugar-free version of the popular frozen drink at 7-Eleven. The new “Slurpee Lite” has half as many calories as a regular Slurpee.

Beginning in June, the first “Slurpee Lite” will hit 7-Eleven stores with its mango-flavor. In July, mango will be replaced by sugar-free strawberry banana. In August, it’ll be sugar-free cherry limeade.

According to the vice-president of 7-Eleven, he says the Slurpee Lite “tastes just as great” as a regular Slurpee. Of course he would but we’ll be the judge of that!
