George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer accused of fatally shooting Trayvon Martin, was released around midnight Sunday from a Florida county jail on $150,000 bail.
Zimmerman was wearing blue jeans and a brown jacket as he carried a paper bag. Even though photographers were gathered outside, he didn’t look at them, instead he stared straight ahead as he followed another man carrying bags into a white BMW vehicle and drove away.
For his safety, Zimmerman’s destination is being kept secret and could be outside of Florida; as he awaits his second-degree murder trial for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin.
