George Zimmerman’s Bond hearing in the case of the murder of 17yr old Trayvon Martin concludes this morning with the Judge setting the bond at $150,000.  When Zimmerman was called to the stand his first remark was a formal apology placed directly to the parents of Trayvon Martin, “I wanted to say I am sorry ahh, for the lost of your son. I did not know how old he was, I thought he was a little bit younger than I am, and I did not know if he was armed or not.”

The Judge issued GPS Monitoring, no Contact With victim’s family, No use of controlled substances unless it is prescribed by a physician, no possession of a fire arm, and he has to contact the authorities every 3 days.  The judge also ruled for Zimmerman’s attorney to get together with the state to determine if it’s possible for him to reside outside of the state of Florida. He will be released on bail once this meeting takes place.

Zimmerman’s attorney fought hard throughout the hearing to possibly have a tracking device placed on Zimmerman that would still allow him to leave the state.  Do you believe the Judge made the best decision for this hearing?  Take the poll below and share your thoughts.
