This past Monday, GSN, known as the Game Show Network, announced a one-hour studio-based game show in which contestants compete based on their knowledge of the Bible. According to GSN, the game show is “designed to acknowledge and celebrate the Bible’s continuing importance in contemporary life and culture.” The American Bible Challenge contestants will share their back stories and each team will play for a faith-based organization.
The network has tapped Grammy-award winning Jeff Foxworthy to host the show. Foxworthy says, “I am excited to be hosting a show about the best-selling book of all time. It will be interesting to find out what people really know, and an opportunity to present the Bible in a fun and entertaining way.”
