BET’S Celebration of Gospel will air April 1st at 8pm. It will be taped March 16th at 8pm at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles and will include performances by Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Fred Hammond, James Fortune and more.
The Celebration of gospel is a mixture of gospel and R&B stars, and will also include tributes to the mother gospel Mahalia Jackson as well as Whitney Houston, whose singing was grounded in the roots of gospel music.
