Move over sisters and make from Gospel artist, writer and worshipper William McDowell, best known for his worship anthem, “I Give Myself Away.” McDowell has landed at #1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart this week, bringing an end to the female reign of Kierra Sheard, LeAndria Johnson, and Jessica Reedy.
McDowell’s new double CD , ARISE, also took the top spot on the Top Praise & Worship charts; with the song, I Won’t Go Back, as one of the most popular songs off the new album.
