Singer and Weight Watchers spokesperson Jennifer Hudson is furious over an article that appeared on the Bossip website. The site claimed that publishers were only interested in a book about her recent weight loss if Hudson also discussed her family tragedy. The Oscar winner’s mother, older brother and 7-year-old nephew were killed in October 2008, and her brother-in-law was arrested for the murders. “While Hudson’s weight struggle and self-help tips are marketable,” claimed the story, “sources say because of her $1 million-plus demand for the deal, publishers are holding out for the full story about her coping with the horrific slaying of her family.” Hudson is demanding an apology, and reacted to the story on Twitter, writing, “Everyday I wakeup I’m constantly reminded how cruel n heartless the world is. So cold!! Wow!”
